Climate on the Costa Blanca

The sunny side of life can be just 2 hours away from the UK. The Costa Blanca is also called the Florida of Spain. Denia, for example, was awarded the distinction by the World Health Organization as an area with the worlds best climate. Grapes for dark red wine, juicy citrus fruits, almonds, rice, kiwis, mangoes, peanuts thrive wonderfully in this climate and give the air a special odour when they flower. The mountains with their natural water reserves and the salty air from the sea, combined with lots of sun create the special climate of the Costa Blanca, which makes it so unique. In a nutshell: Not too hot in summer and not too cold in winter. Simply a climate you can feel well in.
